I got a job today Hired on the spot…whew.

6th/7th grade social studies at a middle school in the Bronx.

PS: The school is a DANCE ACADEMY. I am so stoked.

   I’m pretty sure my friend taught at the exact same school. Unless there are other dance academies in the Bronx.

   Look at you with your “job”…at your “dance academy”…guess you must be a “teacher”

   Congrats Lauren! Call me so we can hang out before this “teaching” thing steals all that precious free time to poster writing and donors choose proposals.

   From what I remember she said the kids were great, but it seemed like just when she got them excited about something they had to stop and do preparations for the state standardized test. Also, prepare for a lot of girls.

   Okay I am so linking to your blog. I have no idea why it interests me (I’m not a teacher!) After I accidently found your other blog while searching for Bronx events for my BRONX MAMA blog, I found your livejournal post from today and now I end up here! So seeing that you teach here in the Bronx where I live is cool. You seem interesting! Like me! haha
